Harnessing the power of data to drive meaningful change
The NHS Benchmarking Network (NHSBN) is a national network supporting health and care organisations across the UK to use data to drive meaningful improvement. With over 30 years of experience, NHSBN collects, analyses and reports on data across a wide range of NHS service areas, enabling organisations to benchmark their performance, understand variation and support evidence-based decision making.
NHSBN delivers a portfolio of national clinical audits, including the National Audit for Care at the End of Life (NACEL) and CVDPREVENT, commissioned by the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP), and the Learning Disability Improvement Standards (LDIS) audit, commissioned by NHS England, providing comparable, nationally consistent data to inform policy, strengthen learning and support improvement across services.
NHSBN also operates a membership programme through which organisations across the UK access benchmarking data and insight across priority service areas, and offers bespoke projects tailored to the specific requirements of individual organisations.
