CVDPREVENT Explained - Primary Care Cardiovascular Society Module
CVDPREVENT learning module now live on the PCCS website 🫀
We’re pleased to share that our short, new, practical learning module created with the Primary Care Cardiovascular Society (PCCS) and hosted on the PCCS website, is now available to support primary care teams to use CVDPREVENT insights to drive measurable improvements in cardiovascular prevention and management. The PCCS is a UK-based, multi-disciplinary organisation that supports, educates and empowers primary care healthcare professionals to deliver the best in cardiovascular health.
Designed for GPs, nurses, pharmacists and the wider practice team, the module covers how CVDPREVENT data is collected and how outcomes are generated to support cardiovascular disease prevention, describing how practices can compare indicators and benchmark performance on a local, regional and national level. Speakers explore how CVDPREVENT can be utilised to share best practice, to drive quality improvement and reduce health inequalities. This is exemplified through the real-world improvements seen at The Willow Group Practice.
