Changes to Integrated Care Board (ICB) geographies

The CVDPREVENT team is aware of upcoming changes to Integrated Care Board (ICB) geographies. The first phase of ICB mergers and boundary changes has been approved by the government and will take effect from the 1st April 2026. These changes will apply to ICBs in London, the East of England, and the South East. 

Further decisions on additional ICB mergers are expected in summer 2026, with any changes coming into effect from 1st April 2027. 

We are currently scoping how these changes will be reflected in the way data is presented on the CVDPREVENT Data and Improvement tool. Additional information will be provided in due course.
