NHS Benchmarking Network awarded National Audit of Cardiovascular Disease Prevention in Primary Care (CVDPREVENT) for sixth consecutive year.
The NHS Benchmarking Network is delighted to announce we have been awarded the contract to deliver Workstream 3 of the CVDPREVENT audit for the 6th year.
Commissioned by the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) as part of the National Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes Programme (NCAPOP) and funded by NHS England & NHS Improvement, CVDPREVENT supports quality improvement in primary care to prevent cardiovascular disease across England.
The NHS Benchmarking Network will continue to present data in a meaningful way to:
identify gaps, inequalities, and opportunities in care
highlight areas for improvement to drive better outcomes and reduce health inequalities
support national and local CVD prevention programmes
Patient and Public Involvement will still remain central to the audit and is delivered in partnership with The Patients Association, ensuring patient voices inform all aspects of work.
Outputs include reports, with previous iterations available on our output page and the interactive data and improvement tool with this next iteration building on five years of time series data to support understanding of trends, variation and opportunities in CVD prevention and management.
